Well Sony I got good news and bad news. Yes, it will work if you hook the PS5 into your STR-DH790.....but the bad news is your receiver is not a 120hz passthrough. So your VRR update makes VRR impossible with this set up now on my new A80J. So I need to have the PS5 in HDMI port 4 in order to have 120hz. . Mismatched input

I was looking at the SONY DH790, which says it has eARC but I thought that was a HDMI2.1 feature. If it does have eARC, would plugging the new consoles that support HDMI 2.1 straight into a HDMI 2.1 tv still allow the hypothetical 4K 120fps potential gaming without getting bottlenecked by the receiver?.
