Gear can just be a big distraction during practice or matches where speed and marksmanship skill are the priorities. Side note: while there are some gamer nerds and fudds that scoff at any kind of kit, I don’t know that many comp shooters that don’t also have tactical gear. I do some broadcasting with music and purchased the GAP Comp 54 alongside it a couple of years back to add colour.
